Terms and Conditions Booking and Appointment Guidelines 1. Age Requirement You must be 16 or older to book an appointment. If you are underage, your appointment will be cancelled. ⸻ 2. Nail Preparation Please arrive with bare nails; I do not remove or infill work done by another technician. Please avoid using any moisturising products on your hands on the day of your appointment as this could cause retention issues. ⸻ 3. Late Arrival/No Show Policy To ensure quality service for all clients, I ask for a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for any cancellations or changes. • If a change or cancellation is made within 48 hours of your appointment, I may not have availability to reschedule, and you may lose your booking fee. • If you fail to show up without prior notice, your booking fee will be forfeited, and future appointments may be declined. I reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments when necessary. This may be due to illness, personal emergencies, unforeseen circumstances, or if a client does not follow booking policies. If I need to cancel your appointment, you’ll be notified as soon as possible. Any booking fee you’ve paid will be fully refunded or transferred to a new appointment date, whichever you prefer. ⸻ 4. Appointment Confirmation Once your appointment is booked, you will receive a confirmation email. Please review it carefully and notify me of any errors. ⸻ 5. Nail Art • Please ensure you’ve selected the correct level of nail art when booking your appointment. If you’re unsure which level to choose, feel free to message me directly. You can also check my social media highlights or visit my website for examples. • If you wish to add more art on the day of your appointment, availability may be limited. • If you opt for a higher level of nail art initially but choose not to proceed with as much on the day, you will still be required to pay the full amount of the original booking. ⸻ 6. Quiet Appointment Requests If you prefer a silent or quiet appointment, please inform me beforehand, and I will happily accommodate you. ⸻ 7. Toilet Facilities Please note, while I work from home, there are no public toilet facilities available. Kindly plan accordingly before your appointment. ⸻ Important Reminder As my salon space is small, I kindly ask that you attend your appointment alone, and please, no children are allowed. ⸻ Consultation Form Before your appointment, please ensure you complete the consultation form if you are new to my salon. This form collects essential information needed for your appointment. You will find it attached to your appointment confirmation email. Please let me know if you don’t receive this for any reason ⸻ Aftercare To keep your nails looking their best for as long as possible: Keep them dry (when you can) - Avoid soaking hands in water for long periods, as this can cause nails to become weak and flexible. Protect your hands - Always wear gloves when cleaning, washing dishes, gardening, or using chemicals. Moisturise daily - Apply hand cream and cuticle oil regularly to keep your skin and nails hydrated and healthy. Be gentle - Avoid using your nails as tools to open or pick at things, as this can cause lifting or breakage. Regular maintenance - Book in for regular appointments to maintain your manicure and nail health. If you notice any issues within the first 48 hours, please get in touch. After this time, problems are usually caused by day-to-day wear and tear rather than application.
